The following tools and supplies are necessary or recommended for speaker building. Advanced techniques may require additional tooling.

Enclosure Fabrication

• Table saw, thickness planer and jointer
• Random orbital sander and assorted abrasive papers
• Drill, hammer or biscuit cutter
• Screws and screwdriver, or nails
• Assorted clamps
• Router or jig saw
• Tape measure and ruler
• Right angle
• Work table
• Pressure roller (if using veneer)

Electronics Work

• Soldering Iron
• Hot glue gun
• Digital multimeter
• LCR meter
• Signal generator
• Wire strippers, cutters and crimpers
• Heat shrink

General Assembly

• Various screwdrivers and allen wrenches
• Glue, caulk and adhesive weather stripping
